Alright, here goes.
Well, the driving there was pure insanity. Intersections in town were blocked as people tried to get through for graduation. I even wondered why the police didn't even try to lower the traffic for less accidents. Well, it was kind of raining, but still...
We got there, I found my spot in the gym...and man, was it hot! I think what made matters worse for me though was that my last name, starting with a "W," put me in the back. They didn't even turn the air conditioning on and...whew. My cousin beside me (same last name as me) was ready to leave cause he couldn't stand the heat. Thankfully he did.
Oh, and funny thing...some people in the crowd sneaked in some beach balls to throw into the graduates. We played for a bit, but the admins of the school managed to get almost all of them, and almost everyone was booing (I think my parents told me that a family thought the people were booing at their girl who was called up due to a beach ball being taken. I hope they're okay).
After about almost 2 hours, the last row was called up, I got this case for my diploma (to those who don't know, we don't receive our diploma on stage), shook hands with the principal, got my picture taken, and such (oh, and this was on TV too, but you need Comcast to watch). It wasn't long till everyone got the cases. Everyone was happy, we left, went to specific classrooms to get our diplomas...and left...eventually. Since over 400 seniors were graduating, you can imagine how many people were in the school.
So...yeah. It was great to leave the school for good. I feel a lot of weight coming off of my shoulders. I managed to get a lot of graduation money, and some people are planning to send me more. I might buy a few things when I go to the mall sometime this week (it's about...30-45 minutes away).
Almost all my friends graduated, except one, but he's going to make it up in summer school. Ain't nothing to do now, except find the right classes for college, try to get my learner's (and license. Ugh, the law here sucks. I heard you can be 14 in Kansas and get your license), draw, relax, and so on. Overall though, I'm happy. ^^
I'm going to try and draw more in the future, but I'm not getting too many ideas, sadly. I'll see what I can do. That's it! Okay everyone, take care!
